Advisor terms

These terms are between you and Verve House LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 31286, Austin, TX 78731, USA, which operates Seerora (“we”, “us”). They apply from the moment you apply to read on Seerora. They add to the Terms of service, and the Advisor data protection terms are part of them. Where these terms and the Terms of service differ for an advisor, these terms apply.

1. Working with Seerora

You read on Seerora as an independent professional, not as our employee or agent. You decide when you are available and how you read. You are responsible for your own taxes, registrations and any permits your country requires. The content of your readings is yours.

2. Applying and being approved

You must be 18 or older and hold one account. What you tell us in your application must be true. A person reviews every application and may interview you by chat or call before deciding. We may decline an application, and we tell you by email either way.

3. Your listing

Your name, photo, headline, about text, specialties and rate must be accurate and your own; a professional name is fine. You let us show your listing and your reviews on Seerora and in Seerora's own promotion while you are listed. Customers' reviews are their own: never ask for one, offer anything for one or pressure anyone about one. You may reply to a review, politely.

4. Your rate and what you earn

You set one per-minute rate for chat and voice, from $0.99 to $30, and change it whenever you like. A reading is billed at the rate shown when the customer asked for it. You keep 70% of every billed minute; the other 30% is our platform fee. There is no listing fee and no other charge on your earnings. When a customer uses free minutes with you, we pay you for them at your rate.

5. Payouts

Earnings become payable 14 days after the reading. We pay twice a month, on the 1st and the 16th, once $20 or more is payable. If you live in a country Stripe Connect serves (the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area except Iceland, Canada and Switzerland), you are paid through Stripe into your own bank account, and Stripe checks your identity and bank details. Anywhere else, we pay you by hand through Wise into your local bank account. Keep your payout and tax details accurate and up to date; a payout sent to details you gave us is paid.

6. Refunds, chargebacks and withheld earnings

We do not pay earnings from a reading that broke these terms, or that a customer charged back with their card. If a chargeback comes after we paid you for that reading, we deduct it from your next payouts.

7. During a reading

• Set yourself Available only when you can answer, and answer a request within a minute.
• Never give medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and never predict death or pregnancy.
• Never charge for silence. If nothing comes through, say so and end the reading.
• End a reading that turns to a topic you may not advise on; you lose nothing by ending it.
• Treat every customer with respect, including those who disagree with you.
• Stay on Seerora: never ask for or accept a customer's contact details or payment outside Seerora.
• Never record a call or copy a chat; Seerora does not record calls either.
• If a customer may be at risk of harming themselves or someone else, give them their local emergency number or a crisis line, end the reading if it cannot continue safely, and tell us at once at hello@seerora.com.

8. Booked readings

If you open your calendar to bookings, start each booked reading within 15 minutes of its time. If you do not, or you cancel, the customer is refunded in full. If you end it early, the customer is refunded the prepaid minutes not used. Section 13 of the Terms of service sets out the customer's side.

9. What customers share

You handle what customers share with you on our behalf and only for the reading, under the Advisor data protection terms: confidential, on Seerora, never copied and never put into another service.

10. Suspension, removal and leaving

We may suspend or remove your listing if you break these terms, if customers' complaints show a problem, or at our discretion. You may stop at any time: set yourself Offline, and ask us at hello@seerora.com to close your account. Earnings already payable are paid as in section 5, less anything withheld under section 6. Sections 6 and 9 continue after you leave.

11. Changes

We post changes here with a new date and ask you to accept them before your next reading.
